Sprotbrough burglary – can you help police?

Police in Doncaster have launched a witness appeal following a burglary in the Sprotbrough area of the town, in the early hours of yesterday morning (Friday 2 February).

At around 2am, it is reported that a number of men forced entry to a property in Cadeby Road, Sprotbrough.

The group are understood to have assaulted the occupant, a 28-year-old man, punching him in the face while demanding money and making threats.

The group then left the property taking keys for two vehicles, a Land Rover Discovery and a Land Rover Discovery TDI, which were later found abandoned in the local area.

A number of other items were taken during the incident.
