YOPEY Awards
South Yorkshire Police is helping to reward the unsung heroes amongst the young people of South Yorkshire’s communities.
Young People of the Year South Yorkshire (YOPEY) can be likened to the “Pride of Britain Awards” - but for local young people aged between 10-25.
The Young People of the Year (YOPEY) Awards look to recognise that the majority of young people are good citizens overshadowed by a well-publicised antisocial minority. The YOPEY awards aim to reveal, recognise and reward fantastic young people who give to others.
Nominations for a YOPEY award (to an individual or a group) can be from friends, family, school, church, youth organisations, and charities - in fact anyone, even self-nomination.
So do you know any young person worthy of a nomination?
If so, make a nomination.
