Current terrorist threat assessments

Terrorist threat assessments for the UK are compiled by the Security Service for and on behalf of the Government. Current assessments are available from the Home Office website or the MI5 website.

If you wish to pass on any information concerning suspected  terrorist activity please telephone the Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321.

Counter-Terrorism Security Advisers

Counter Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSAs) provide a point of contact for the business sector. CTSAs can assist and advise on matters relating to current  terrorist threats and incident management planning  including:

  • Dealing with bomb threat telephone calls
  • Building searches and evacuation
  • Contingency planning for terrorist incidents
  • Dealing with suspect packages
  • Physical/Personnel/ & IT security
