The collision happened on Sunday 13 January 2013, just before 6pm on Barnsley Road. The driver of a red Peugeot 206 was travelling towards Ecclesfield, when a black coloured vehicle has overtaken it.

It’s believed the black vehicle was travelling too close to the Peugeot, causing the driver of the Peugeot to swerve and hit the nearside kerb. The driver then lost control crossing the carriageway and colliding with a wall.
