Two men were arrested following an altercation at a house in Darfield, Barnsley, in which two men were injured.

A 38-year-old man suffered wounds, thought to be caused by a scissors, during the incident which happened in Snape Hill Road at around noon on Friday (18 April).

He remains in hospital and is receiving treatment for his injuries, which are not life-threatening. The other victim, a 39-year-old man, suffered minor cuts and bruises and was not admitted to hospital.
