Barnsley man receives three-year football banning order
A 26-year-old man received a three-year football banning order on Monday, 11 February, after being found guilty of a public order offence at Barnsley Magistrates court.
Dean Clark from Barnsley received the banning order after being arrested and charged with a public order offence on Saturday, 15 December, 2012 at Jumble Crossing in Barnsley.
The offence occurred after the Barnsley Football club versus Sheffield Wednesday Football club game.
The officer in the case PC Paul Davies said: "This is a good result and there are several more arrests to be made in relation to offences committed by fans during and after this football game."
