A number of weapons have been recovered by officers from a vehicle in a hospital car park in Doncaster.
At around 1.50pm yesterday (Thursday, 10 August) police were alerted to an incident at Doncaster Royal Infirmary where three men had attended and reported they had an unknown substance thrown at them in the Thorne Road area.
All three were tested and no traces of a harmful substance or chemical were found.
While officers were in attendance, they were alerted to a vehicle in the hospital car park with smashed windows.
On searching the car, a variety of weapons were discovered, including knives and a hammer.
Three men, two aged 21-years-old and a 17-year-old were arrested on suspicion of possession of offensive weapons. They have been released under investigation while police conduct further enquiries.
The weapons were all seized and are now in police possession.
