Operation Clover, a joint investigation by South Yorkshire Police in partnership with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and the Crown Prosecution Service has today (Saturday 4 July) charged a further woman with a number of offences relating to child sexual exploitation in Rotherham between 1993 and 1995.
Shelley Davies, 40, has been charged with conspiracy to procure a child to become a common prostitute and unlawful imprisonment.
She is also jointly charged with conspiracy to rape alongside 52-year-old Qurban Ali, 58-year-old Karen MacGregor and 40-year-old Arshid Hussain, who were charged yesterday (Friday 3 July) with this offence.
She has been bailed to appear before Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 7 July.
