Kendray and Worsbrough SNT hold crime prevention advice event

Kendray and Worsbrough Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) spent a morning speaking to members of the community as part of a crime prevention advice day B&Q car park, Stairfoot on 23 June.

The engagement event is held monthly and allows police to answer any crime and safety questions and provide important crime prevention advice.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, Age Concern and the council’s Central Call were also there to meet and greet customers coming to and from the store.

Police issued security awareness questionnaires to gage an insight into the general knowledge of security awareness and to help them issue advice where appropriate.

Tasking Officer Paula Marshall said:“These events are always very popular and well received by members of the public, most of who are keen to learn useful tips on how they can take extra steps to improve their safety.”

The next event will be held at B&Q, Stairfoot on Wednesday 21st July between 9am and noon.
