Detectives investigating the murder of a 39-year-old Barnsley woman have now bailed the 38-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police were called to Beever Street in Goldthorpe, Barnsley at about 3.15am yesterday, Sunday 15 August, where the body of the woman was discovered.

The 39-year-old Barnsley woman has now been formally identified as Ann Marie Gethen.

The 15-year-old, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday, remains in police custody.
