Penistone Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will be working alongside partners, looking after the crowds of people enjoying the festivities this Saturday, 5 December at the Penistone Christmas lights switch on at 16.00hrs.

Officers will be ensuring the safety of the public and managing the road closures on Market Place and part of ST Marys Street.

Penistone SNT PC Andy Thompson said, “The event is expected to attract over 1000 people and Penistone SNT will be there to ensure everyone enjoys themselves safely.”
