Mark Fairweather, aged 28 from no fixed abode was sentenced to 2 years 8 months imprisonment in August of this year after being found guilty of 20 sneak in burglaries around Barnsley.

Police are still in possession of a female’s gold ring, recovered during this investigation and to date have been unable to identify the owner.

It is possible that the owner is unaware that they have been a victim of crime and believe that the ring has been misplaced.
