Police appeal for witnesses to Road Traffic Collision in Whiston, Rotherham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 22-year-old man sustained serious leg injuries in a collision with a car in Whiston, Rotherham.

The man was riding a red Honda CR250 motorcycle on Middlefields Drive at around 5.45pm on Saturday 23 June 2012 when the motorcycle was involved in a collision with a stationary silver Mercedes E200. The man was taken to Rotherham District General Hospital and is receiving treatment for his injuries. The driver of the Mercedes, was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the collision should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 875 of 23 June 2012.
