2.1       The minutes of the last meeting dated 30 September 2015 were agreed as an accurate record.

 

 

3.         ACTIONS FROM LAST MEETING

 

3.1        MeetingsSupt. Hemsley to review Threat, Harm and Risk related meetings with a view to identifying opportunities to streamline, merge or hold on the same day.  A two weekly COMPASS meeting to discuss offenders has been replaced by a Crime & Citizen Focus Tasking meeting.  This meeting will include threat, harm and risk issues which will identify locations as well as offenders and vulnerability.  The meeting will be evaluated in due course.   Discharged.

5.         SATs UPDATE

 

5.1        Inspector Hockley advised she is managing the Safer Adults Teams for Doncaster and Barnsley.  Staffing levels and Terms of Reference were discussed.  From 2016 Colin Brotherston from BMBC will co-chair the MARAC meetings.

 

5.2        Doncaster SAT Sergeants have been attending briefings, but due to resilience this has fallen short at Barnsley.  Inspector Hockley suggested a SPOC be identified from each LPU Team at Barnsley who could spend half a day with the DSs at Doncaster and take any issues forward.

7.1        High levels of general demand incidents have been seen over recent weeks.

Barnsley Custody 

 

Noise levels will shortly increase during demolition work in November 2015.  Power outages will take place on a set day within the Police Station and associated sites due to disconnection of the generator and relocation to a new site.

 

Community Services Enforcement Team

Paperwork in respect of the Enforcement Team locating to Barnsley Police Station has been submitted for Finance Committee approval.
