2. Force Update
APresentation on the Business Crime Project was given to the group.

This is a three-year project, which is nearing the end of the first year.  PCSOs are to work on the project and give crime prevention advice to businesses. 

SME businesses are eligible and SYP have a target of 36 business receiving 12 hours of advice to achieve with the project being European funded.  Jobs need to be created and also safeguarded as a result of this intervention. 

3.  Business Planning
MV gave an update of current projects and risks.

There are currently nine projects recorded with three more being created by the end if this week.

There are currently six risks recorded.  All have been assessed, with the next updates due by the end of March 2013 (quarterly update). 
  
4. People Updates   
Sickness absence will be the main focus for DJ since moving to District.  Criteria for sickness leave for police staff is changing and will be moving to the same process as followed in Humberside, which takes account of sickness information over 3 years.  Overall the new process will give a more balanced approach.

5. Finance Update
An overspend at District is projected.

Capital project for ANPR has been approved by T/DCC.

 6. District  Performance Update 
 Accommodation
MV gave an update to the group on the current assessments of the accommodation across District.  Some locations will house additional staff without the need for major refurbishments but some will require time and money spent on them to make suitable.

Concerns still in place over low staff numbers within Rota C

SNT
Discussions took place around the new recording procedures for Stop & Search and current Management information.

9. Good Work
There were no GWM to be brought to the group’s attention.
   
10. AOB
The Town team vehicle has been replaced.

Box keys have been requested by a number of staff and due to the cost and potential loss of the keys, it was decided to have these replaced with digi locks on substations.
