The group discussed issues over sickness, performance across District and the non-challenge from Supervisors and action planning of staff.
Rotherham District are to receive an additional thirty-four established posts. Doncaster will receive twelve, Sheffield thirty-one and Barnsley will receive nine. The additional thirty-four posts will be implemented into the 118 Project. Authorise funded posts will rise to three hundred and sixty one for the District and minimum staffing levels will be considered.
Staff Officer Position
It was agreed that the current staff officer will remain in post until the end of August to help provide resilience over the holiday period and the new person will take up the role from September for a period of six months.
There are now three Sgts assisting with the demand allocations at Atlas Court to help keep the active queue down.
District Supervisor Moves/Changes
Discussions took place over the supervisor moves across District, which were agreed.
Missing Persons Office
The person currently carrying out this role will leave after three months and during this time, we need to concentrate on processes used. Partnership preventative work needs to be included within the process.
IW will give a presentation on demand management at the next managers meeting on the 2 July.
Dips sampling of individuals trays, both physical and electronic, are to be carried out across all portfolios to ensure tasks are carried out within the required timescales.
Crime Allocation Policy
Crime allocations are to be documented and the DCI is to take forward the Crime Allocation Policy and to bring back to DCT for a decision.
Any Other Business
CST - staff are required to help cover the diary appointments
ANPR - Tasking role and a computer is yet to be identified to hold the software.
Vehicle Visibility - Priority Crime cars are to be marked
