Action schedule updated
CAP and Targets – Latest performance figures discussed. District Performance remains good. Concerns remain with burglary dwelling and vehicle crime, which continues to be closely monitored. Managers must continue to challenge staff in terms of performance. Staff at District work extremely hard and are thanked for their continued efforts in maintaining performance.
DCI Singleton confirmed that a Force meeting involving representatives from each District will take place later this week to discuss vehicle crime and to produce a Force-wide plan.
Performance Visit Actions – Ch Supt Tweed discussed the Performance Visit actions and it was confirmed there are none outstanding.
CIT – CI Andy Kent has taken over responsibility for CIT and has carried out a review assisted by T/DI Leach as manager of CIT. A presentation was provided at the meeting to outline improvement plans. A number of issues were identified and are in the process of being resolved. A meeting is to take place tomorrow to discuss Diary issues and look at the introduction of a more efficient process for diary cars. Also, plan to reintroduce performance indicators for publishing.
