Police are appealing for information following an alleged hit and run in Doncaster
On Monday, 15 October, at approximately 7.50am, a 13-year-old girl was walking in the direction of Sainsburys after she got off a bus on Thorne Road.
Around the same time, a black Vauxhall Corsa travelling towards Doncaster, is believed to have lost control at the roundabout on the entrance to the supermarket.
The side of the car, possibly the wing mirror, is thought to have hit the girl, causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head.
The driver of the Corsa regained control of the car but did not stop, and continued towards Doncaster.
The girl sustained a slight concussion as a result of the incident.
The Corsa has rear black tinted windows and bright headlights, which possibly have a blue tint.
The driver of the car and the passenger, are both believed to be white and in their early 20s. They were both wearing hooded tops.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to call the police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 159 of 15/10/12.
