Chief Superintendent Lindsey Butterfield
Chief Superintendent Lindsey Butterfield started with South Yorkshire Police as Temporary Assistant Chief Constable in 2022 after 20 years at North Yorkshire Police.
During her police service she has fulfilled various uniformed roles, spending much of her time working in partnerships and neighbourhood policing teams. She has also been a public order officer for all of her service, as well as a FIM, tactical firearms commander and now a strategic firearms commander.
Lindsey now leads Sheffield as District Commander.
