A 41-year-old man will appear in court today charged in connection to a series of armed robberies committed across Sheffield and Rotherham.
Shane Murphy, of no-fixed-address, has been charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery following an investigation in to a spate of offences where conveniences stories across the two districts were targeted.
The robberies were committed between 20 January and 24 April and saw cigarettes and money stolen from the stores.
Murphy was remanded in to custody to appear before Sheffield Magistrates Court later today (Friday 27 April).
