An overview of charges, arrests and updates following the work of officers in Doncaster:

- Man charged with theft

On Saturday 19 May officers charged Daniel Stickland with four counts of theft.

Stickland, 30, of no fixed abode, was charged in connection with a number of reported thefts from shops throughout May. He appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court and has been remanded into custody.

- Woman charged in connection with reported burglaries

Officers investigating two aggravated burglaries in the Hatfield area of Doncaster have charged a 36-year-old woman with two counts of burglary.

Donna Gravel, of Durham Road Doncaster, was charged with the offences on Saturday 19 May. She appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court where she was remanded into custody.

Gravel was charged in connection with two incidents on Saturday 5 May and Saturday 12 May. Sometime between 9.17pm on 5 May and 1.50am on 6 May it was reported someone had entered a property on Brabbs Avenue and stole a large quantity of cash and bank cards.

A 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with the incident has since been released from the investigation.

At around 12.30pm on 12 May it was reported a woman had demanded cash and made threats towards the owner of a property on Sheep Dip Lane. The victim, a 69-year-old man, sustained non-serious injuries in the incident and his wallet was stolen.

- Man charged with burglary and theft

Officers investigating two reported incidents in the town centre area of Doncaster have charged a 42-year-old man.

Mark Boutell, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of theft and burglary on Thursday 24 May. He was remanded into custody until his appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 24 May.

At around 8.50am on Wednesday 23 May it was reported a man had stolen a small quantity of batteries from the Poundland store in Frenchgate.

Sometime between 3.00am and 6.30am on Wednesday 23 May officers responded to a reported burglary at a hair salon on Priory Walk. A quantity of hair products were stolen in the incident.

- On Wednesday 23 May, officers recovered a shotgun and quantity of suspected class A drugs following a warrant on Doncaster Road.

Three men, aged 46, 23 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. They have since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
