Two arrested following Rotherham stabbings

Two men have been arrested following incidents in Rotherham last Sunday in which two men suffered stab injuries.
At around 8.15pm on Sunday 23 September, it was reported that a group of men approached two stationary cars in a car park close to McColls convenience store, Aston, and assaulted a 21-year-old man.
The man was taken to hospital to be treated for stab wounds to his arm and ribs. He has since been discharged.
Ten minutes prior, officers had received information that an 18-year-old man had been injured outside of Del’s Convenience Store in the Swallownest area.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for slash wounds to his hands and leg and has also been discharged.
Two men, aged 18 and 20, have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and robbery, in connection to both of the incidents.
They have since been bailed as enquiries continue and detectives remain keen to hear from anyone who has information about either of the incidents.
