Two charged with Barnsley burglary

Officers from Barnsley’s Tasking Team have arrested and charged a 35-year-old man and a 41-year-old man with burglary offences.

The charges relate to a burglary at a Boots store in Barnsley town centre on Monday 15 July.

Officers were called at 2:31am to the store after it is reported that two offenders gained access to the store through the roof.

Ryan Keleman, 41, of no fixed abode and Craig Smith, 35, of White Cross Road will appear before Barnsley Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 16 July.
