Earlier this week, officers from Doncaster’s Fortify Team recovered suspected Class A drugs and an amount of cash, during a proactive stop and search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
On Wednesday 13 November, the team stopped a 31-year-old man on Main Street, Mexborough, for the purpose of a search, and recovered a black bag containing wraps of suspected Class A drugs. About £300 was also seized.
The man has since been interviewed and released under investigation as enquiries continue.
