A 20-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection to the robbery of a student near to Sheffield city centre.
At about 3am on Friday 1 November, it was reported that an 18-year-old student was the victim of a robbery on Matilda Street.
The student’s wallet is said to have been taken during the incident.
Hamza Hussain, of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery.
Hussain is also charged in connection to an incident on Sunday 6 October, when an 18-year-old man was the victim of a robbery on Eyre Street, Sheffield. The victim is said to have been forced to withdraw money from a number of cash machines.
Hussain has appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court and was remanded to appear before Crown Court on 11 December.
