Information sought after shots fired in Sheffield

Detectives investigating a reported firearms discharge in the Tinsley area of Sheffield last weekend have issued an appeal for witnesses.

Between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday 12 October, it is reported that persons unknown fired shots at a property in Dundas Road, Tinsley.

When officers attended, they found damage to a door consistent with a firearms discharge.

Nobody was injured during the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident but at this time, detectives believe this to be an isolated incident. It is not thought to be connected to any other reported firearms incidents in the city.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the Dundas Road area that evening.
