A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a report of shots fired in the Meersbrook area of Sheffield on Friday (10 January).
The 30-year-old was arrested overnight after officers executed a warrant at an address in Chesterfield.
He remains in custody at this time.
Officers were called to Northcote Avenue in Meersbrook at 10.55pm on Friday 10 January, where they found evidence of a firearms discharge at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
