The votes are in and we are pleased to announce the final category winners for this year’s Tilley Awards are:
Neighbourhoods – Surrey Police, Operation Blink
Police Now & Student Officer – North Wales Police, Secure your PDQ
Investigations – West Yorkshire Police, Focused Forensic Marking to Deter and Detect Domestic Abuse
Partners – South Yorkshire Police, Operation Grow
Business Support & Volunteers – Surrey Police, Basingstoke Canal Sexual Exposures
All of our category winners will now present their projects at the National Problem Solving Conference in October this year, where the final judging panel and audience members will vote for this year’s overall Tilley Award winner.
Each of the winners, all of which we identified as a shortlisted entry by our expert panel of sift judges earlier this year, scored the highest scores in their categories for the demonstrated used of the SARA problem solving methodology in their projects.
There were 100 entries submitted to this year’s awards and we would like to thank everyone who made a submission and used this platform to demonstrate and celebrate their use of problem solving methodology to address an identified issue.
We would like to congratulate all of our category winners and we are looking forward to finding out who the overall competition winner will be later this year.
