Three arrested after linked incidents in Fox Hill

Three people have been arrested in connection to two linked incidents in the Fox Hill area of Sheffield.

At around 4.50pm yesterday (Monday 23 July), officers received reports of a car being damaged in the Powley Road area.

Around 10 minutes later, officers were called to reports of a gun being fired at a door in the Carrill Road area.

It was reported that a vehicle pulled up outside a property before a shot was fired at a door. No-one was injured during either incident.

Officers attended the scene and carried out a search of the area as well as house-to-house enquiries.

A 37-year-old man from the Fox Hill area was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to a vehicle.

A 33-year-old woman and a 54-year-old woman, both from the Fox Hill area, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three remain in police custody where they are helping police with enquiries.

Detectives are searching for a fourth man in connection to the firearms discharge which is being treated as a targeted incident.

They are asking anyone who saw either incident to contact 101 quoting 820 of 23 July 2018.
