Six arrested following Mexborough stabbing

Six teenagers are currently in police custody following an incident in Mexborough last night in which a 28-year-old man suffered stab wounds.

Emergency services were called to Dryden Road just after 10.30pm following a report that a man had been injured following an altercation between a group of people known to each other.

The victim was taken to hospital where he currently remains in a serious but stable condition.

Two men aged 18, three 17-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy have all been arrested in connection to the incident on suspicion of wounding. They remain in police custody at this time.
