Man left seriously injured following Sheffield collision- Did you see what happened?

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a single car collision in which a 26-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries.

Around 12.10am on Thursday 21 February, a silver Hyundai i30 is believed to have been travelling on Eccleshall Road towards Moore Street, when the car collided with the central reservation on St Mary’s Gate roundabout.  

The 26-year-old man driving the car was taken to hospital, where he currently remains, with life-threatening injuries.

Two passengers in the car were also taken to hospital, a 25-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both with minor injuries.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who saw the vehicle prior to the collision occurring or may have dash cam or CCTV footage of the incident.
