Pedestrian seriously injured following Doncaster collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision in which a pedestrian suffered a serious head injury.

Just before 10.25pm on Saturday (16 November), it was reported that a car, a black Kia Cee’d had been in collision with a pedestrian on Beckett Road, Doncaster.

The collision happened close to the junction with Avenue Road, as the pedestrian, a 34-year-old man, walked across the road from behind a row of parked cars. The car was travelling out of town.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition. A 28-year-old man driving the Kia was not injured.
