Inspector Mark Payling looks after the Central Neighbourhood area of Doncaster, which includes the Town centre, Balby, Hexthorpe, Hyde Park, Lakeside, Belle Vue, Bennetthorpe, Intake, Wheatley, Clay Lane, Bessacarr and Cantley ward areas.
The team has one sergeant, ten police officers (PCS) and 13 Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who each have geographical responsibility for an area within the wards mentioned above.
Insp Payling hosts regular online meetings via Facebook to give residents the chance to talk about issues affecting them in the local area. This page is regularly updated with the times and dates of planned meetings so please do get involved when you can.

The priorities for the Doncaster Central Neighbourhood Policing Team are:
- To reduce and prevent anti-social behaviour by tackling the root causes through effective problem solving in conjunction with partners
- To protect the public from harm and ensure an effective response to those who are most vulnerable in our communities, working in partnership with other stakeholders
- To build the trust and confidence in local policing
- To inform residents and business owners in Doncaster of how they can help us protect their communities
