Our offer
- On appointment to PCDA, your starting salary will be £18,912, which increases each year of your apprenticeship, reaching £25,902 in your final year, while earning a degree, which is funded by the force so there are no fees to pay.
- On appointment to DHEP, your starting salary will be £21,402, rising to £24,780 in year two.
- An opportunity to further enhance your starting salary is available, dependant on previous experience or existing qualifications. For more information on this please read our Frequently Asked Questions.
- Adjustment grant where applicants who can demonstrate a reduction in salary on starting with the force can apply for an allowance to reduce the reduction in salary.
- Second language bonus payment.
