How do I apply?
Our latest recruitment drive to become a police officer is due to launch on 9 September 2019.
You will need to register your interest between 9.30am on Monday 9 September 2019 and 23:55pm on Sunday 15 September 2019 to be considered for this campaign.
I have a problem using the online assessment tool. Who shall I contact?
As this is a web-based assessment if you are experiencing difficulties, it may be associated with your own web browser capability. The minimum internet browser requirement to use during the assessment will be:
- Internet Explorer 7
- Firefox 3.6
- Google Chrome 8
- Safari 5 (Mac and PC)
If you are unable to find the answer within the help menu, then you can email email@example.com
I have not received an email confirming if I have passed or failed?
At the end of each element of the online process, you will receive an email from the Apollo system. If you have not received an email, you should check your junk mail / filter settings in case the email/s get filtered by your spam software.
How will you contact me through the process?
Generally, we’ll contact you via email but if we need to reach you quickly we may give you a call. Invitations to assessment will be sent via email. It’s important that you provide us with your correct details and update us if anything changes. It is important that you regularly check your spam or junk folder also.
How long does the selection process take? Can I choose when I start?
The process length varies – we strive to complete the process within six – nine months but it may take longer. Once your checks are complete we will generally offer you the next available start date taking into account your notice period; there may be the opportunity to delay this by a short time.
